PD/Malacca

If we've decided on PD/Malacca, I've closed down the options of accommodations in PD to the water chalets ( http://www.impression.com.my/PDmain/Legendwaterchalet/lgdwaterchalet.htm ) and Bayu Beach Resort ( http://www.impression.com.my/PDmain/bayupd/bayupd.htm ), where in the latter, from my past experience, is a nice place, with double storey apartment penthouse of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and an exclusive beach to the hotel residents which is (relatively) clean. I suppose the latter fits the needs and wants of U6S3, though the price is *slightly* high, but I guess it's worth it :) Do comment :)

Some things to think about...
Or maybe, not think about if it's a pain...
but I thought about it and well...

Which beach will we go to for our barbecue?

The hotel management might not let us barbecue things on their clean beach. And if we go to the public one, we've the hassle of returning to wherever we're staying after the party. And cleaning up.
So...before any barbecue plans are made, maybe we should contact the hotel management first and ask if they allow us to party on their beach till late.
(and I think Boon said something about not wanting ANY barbecuing in the room/penthouse? XD)

One suggestion: Maybe we can ask them to set up a barbecue pit for us? (small fee, probably...but hey, saves us the hassle). Then if they do, they know we're gonna barbecue, they know we're probably gonna party till late. And maybe ask them to prepare some barbecue food for us so the people in charge of the cooking for this trip don't need to be so stressed out. We can buy the rest ourselves. =)

Well...tell me what you guys think.

On the plus side... I just found out that there's a bowling alley and go-karting in PD ;)

And no, it's not that I have no life posting this at 6 am on a Sunday.
I woke up early >.<

Maybe Malacca?
I personally think dat staying at bayu beach resort during peak hour doesnt worth it. Cuz it cost 610 per night n without doing anythin we oledi gotta spend 200++ just to stay there. I suggest dat we stay at malacca if possible at Tanith's malacca house @Tanjung
Kling. Its a double storey terrace house corner lot. There's no fridge but there's washin machine which enable us to wash our clothes to make it less smelly throughout our stay. De most also we giv back Tanith's parents back some cash n keep de place clean.

De house is just opposite a residential area beach so there will be less people. N its just 15-20 minutes drive to jonker street where most of our malacca activities located. We need to spend at least 2 night in malacca - 1 night for jonker street, 1 night for eye of malacca. De last night is bonfire night (BBQ) n we need to find a suitable location where is shielded from the wave n there's light if possible for safety reason.

I dont think its worth it for us to pay 600++ bux per night when we can stay in cheaper place although with less facilities but who wanna pay to stay rather dat pay to eat n play? De scenery at malacca is quite nice during the night time expecially along de malacca river. There's ntg much in PD i can think of except beach n seafood...? N PD got less variety of food compared to malacca where we got nyonya, seafood, portugese, desserts, chicken rice ball, stay celup n so on.

Think about it cuz with 600++ per night, its gonna make our budget tight n we gotta watch wad we eat n wad we spend on. Further information will be posted soon.

Do leave some comment. Thank you.

We're going to have our barbecue night in PD or Malacca? I heard some suggested that it's better we spend only one day in PD and the rest of the trip in Malacca.

Erm...I thought the barbecue was supposed to be at the beach? ^^;;; During that one day we're in PD.
I know the plan is to stay more nights in Melaka, but it was discussed halfway.
If the Bayu Beach accomodation is too expensive, I think we can look for others? PD has more apartments now...
